Our family have been retailers since 1959. In the last 20 years we have opened 11 Workwear stores.

Until 5 years ago we prided ourselves in stocking Australian made Workwear exclusively. But times have changed.

Nearly all our suppliers have closed their Australian factories and simply became importers.

So when we opened WORKWEAR Discounts in March 2006 we changed the way we did business.

We stopped buying Workwear from suppliers who didn't pass on the savings when they import clothing and footware from China.

We all know that wages in China are much lower than Australia. So we expect big savings from our suppliers when they move their operations offshore.

There are some terrific suppliers who are willing to pass on the savings if we buy in bulk.

So that's what we do. We buy in bulk and pass on the savings to you.

Many products we sell now are back to the price they were when we opened out first Workwear store in 1986.

And thats just the way it should be.
