Ripstop

Ripstop fabrics are fabrics that are woven so that a tear will not spread.

During weaving, (thick) reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern.  You can see this square pattern if you look closely at your Ripstop garments.  Using this special reinforcing technique makes them resistant to tearing and ripping.  Bisley produce a durable range of Ripstop work shorts, pants and cargo pants as well as plain shirts and Hi-Visibility taped and untaped versions.
